The problem usually starts before you see it

By the time you find a quality problem on the production line, it may have already been there for weeks.

Where it really starts

  • Maybe the drawing wasn't clear.
  • Maybe a material changed.
  • Maybe a specification was misunderstood.
  • Maybe someone made an assumption.
  • Maybe a change was discussed on a phone call but never made it into the final documentation.

None of these look like a big problem at the time. That's what makes them dangerous.

Small gaps during product development can become very expensive once production starts. And once thousands of units are already made, fixing the problem is a very different conversation.

Catch it while it's cheap

That's why we believe good production management starts before production. It means reviewing the details, asking questions, checking assumptions, and making sure the factory understands the same thing the product team understands.

Good production management isn't about reacting quickly to problems. It's about stopping as many of them as possible from becoming problems in the first place.

We build the product. Sourcing, sampling, quality control and production management for founders, creators and ecommerce brands.
